On Wednesday 15th April, Year 1 had a fantastic day visiting Marwell Zoo as part of their Science learning about animals. The children enjoyed seeing a wide range of animals up close and used their observation skills to help classify them into the five animal groups: mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians and fish. They asked thoughtful questions, shared facts with their friends and showed great enthusiasm for learning outside the classroom. The trip brought our Science topic to life and helped the children develop a deeper understanding of how animals are grouped. We were very proud of their curiosity, behaviour and engagement throughout the day. We had a fantastic day out and were great representatives of Tower Hill Primary School.
