Year 3 had an amazing trip to the Gilbert White Field Study Centre to bring all their learning about rivers to life! the children measured the river’s depth and speed, searched for living organisms, and even spotted a bullhead fish! In teams, they built their own model rivers using sticks, complete with meanders, tributaries, and clear river courses. To finish the day, they did an orienteering challenge!  What a brilliant way to end the rivers topic!
