Year 5 Maya Workshop

Year 5 took part in a Mayan workshop, where they combined their History learning with drama based activities. Working in groups, they created freeze-frames of key events which occurred during the Mayan civilisation and explored what happened to the Maya when the Spanish invaded. The children had lots of fun bringing the History unit to life.
