Today we had a visit from a real life author, Isabella Harcourt, who writes about the exciting adventures of ‘Flora Stormer’. The children were fascinated to listen about how she comes up with her ideas for the stories, how she structures them into an engaging narrative and also how her ideas are illustrated. The children were able to ask lots of interesting questions and find out about life as an author and of course to ask about her cat, Freddie Witchfinder. Isabella also shared with the children that she has a condition called Tourettes and also Autism.
