Year 6 were lucky enough to be invited to have a look around Farnborough Airport.

We explored the hangers and found out about all of the different jobs available - there were so many and such a range!

We even designed our own paper aeroplanes and flew them in one of the hangers - it was great fun.

Did you know the airport site borders on Sites of Special Scientific Interest, such as Eelmoor marsh where Przewalski’s horses now graze, clearly visible from the airport taxiways
