Macbeth is a play by William Shakespeare about ambition and making wrong choices. Macbeth is a brave soldier who meets three witches. They tell him he will become king one day. Encouraged by his wife, Lady Macbeth, he kills the king to take the crown. After this, Macbeth becomes worried and unkind, making more bad decisions to stay in power. In the end, Macbeth is defeated, and peace is returned to Scotland. The story teaches that wanting too much power can lead to trouble.
