Welcome to Year 1

Welcome to Year 1! 

Our classes are Blackpool and Spinnaker.


In Blackpool the class teacher is Miss Kirk and the Learning Support Assistant is Miss Maddie.

In Spinnaker the class teacher is Miss Fensome and the Leanring Support Assistants are Mrs Durkin and Mrs Amero.

Miss Mizer will also support across both rooms.

 

Our PE Days are Tuesday (indoor) and Wednesday (outdoor.) Children are expected to come into school in PE kit. That is a white t-shirt, dark blue or black shorts/trousers, black jumper and trainers. 


Reading books and diaries should be brought into school every day. Please aim to read with your child at least 3 times a week and record in their reading diary when they have read with you. 


Homework menus will be sent out for each half term. Please bring this work into school or email a photo to the relevant class email. 


We are really looking forward to working with your children. Please speak to a member of the year 1 team if you have anything to share or discuss.
