Welcome to Year 2! 

Our classes are Canton and Petronas.

In Canton Class we have Mrs Hicks, Mrs Armsworth, Miss Nicholls and Ms Hunter.

In Petronas Class we have Mrs Wilkins and Miss Hens. 

Our PE Days are Tuesday (Outdoor) and Wednesday (Indoor.) Children are expected to come into school in PE kit. That is a white t-shirt, dark blue or black shorts and trainers. 

We send out spelling homework on a Tuesday. We expect the children to write out their spellings and if they can, write a sentence with their spelling in it. This needs to be returned the following Monday so the children can complete their spelling quiz at the back of their spelling homework book. This homework is very beneficial as it covers the year one and two common exception words that the children need to include in their class writing. 

We are really looking forward to working with your children. We have an open door policy and love to hear all about the children's exciting news.Â
