Over the last few weeks, Year R have been lucky enough to have had a number of visitors in school. They have been visited by the Fire Service, the police, a vet, a nurse and even Archer the Therapy Dog.
The children have been learning about people who help us and finding out about different jobs within the community. During these visits, the children were able to have a go at using the fire hose, could hold some different animals and learn how to care for them and also find out what it is like to be a police officer by asking questions that they had written themselves.
We would like to thank all of our visitors for coming in and helping our children to learn about these different careers and making sure that the learning really came to life for our youngest learners.
