Welcome to Year 5, Eiffel Class

At Tower Hill, we strive to be the very best versions of ourselves. We know that a sense of belonging and set routines help us to achieve this; please read Eiffel's routines to help your child be part of the team. 

Please find below some key information: 

 

Monday and Wednesday- The children will need to come to school dressed in their PE kit. There will be no opportunity to get changed at school. 

Children in Year 5 are expected to read a minimum of three times a week, for at least 15 minutes. It is important that the children hvae their reading books and reading records in school every day as we aim to read with all the children throughout the week, in school. 

All children will have access to the school's library and will be able to change their library books every Wednesday. We will change the children's reading books as often as needed from the classroom selection. 

At the beginning of each half term, a homework menu will be sent out, listing 6 possible activities your child can complete. We ask that a minimum of three activities are completed throughout the half term. We will be giving out dojos to any child who completes a piece of homework.
