Royal Society Young People's Book Prize
Our wonderful panel of children have had a brilliant time exploring the six shortlisted books in order to choose their favourite.
They spent some time reading the different texts and then as a team discussed the qualities of each book, thinking about what they did and didn't like and which of the books appealed to their interests.
The books were judged against four criteria:
1. Ease of reading
3. Look and Feel
As a panel, the children chose 'If The World Were 100 People' by Jackie McCann as their favourite book, scoring 18/20.
