Welcome to Tower Hill Primary
As Headteacher of Tower Hill Primary School, I am delighted and tremendously proud to welcome you to the website of our Outstanding (Ofsted 2011) school and trust that you will find it interesting, informative and vibrant – rather like our children!
People visiting Tower Hill speak of its warm, friendly and welcoming atmosphere; its variety, its creativity and the way in which it develops each and every child's potential. To create this atmosphere and ethos we pride ourselves on our teamwork. Every member of staff at Tower Hill is fully aware of, and is committed to their role in the school vision. Every child feels proud to be part of this, and proud to belong.
Tower Hill is also about fun: fun to learn - fun to live. Our values – Respect, Fairness, Friendliness, High Expectations and Achievement – were drawn up by us all, pupil and adult, to reflect the qualities which we feel our children need for them to develop socially, emotionally and academically.
The variety of after-school activities, coupled with the sports provision available, means that your child has the best possible chance of developing into a well rounded individual in his/her time at Tower Hill.
If you would like to see what life at Tower Hill is like, feel free to contact school to arrange an informal visit. We are proud to show off our Outstanding school and welcome you to share in it.
Best wishes from us all,
Tower Hill's Key Values

All of the children in school know these Key Values very well which is evident every day through their conduct and approach to their learning.

On Sunday 9th December, 33 children from Years 1-4 visited the Church of Our Lady in Fleet to sing as a choir for the annual Phyllis Tuckwell Carols by Candlelight concert.
It was an absolute honour to perform at this event alongside Hart Voices, an adult choir that our very own Mrs Smith is part of.
The children performed three songs to a sold out audience and could not have done Tower Hill more proud, with their outstanding behaviour and truly beautiful singing voices.
A huge thank you to Mrs Smith, who has done an incredible job running the choir and for providing them with this wonderful opportunity!
Rehearsal with Hart Voices
It was lovely to see so many of you at our Christmas Fayre on Friday. We raised a staggering amount of money - over £3000 - with the final total still climbing!
There were many fun activities to take part in and amazing Christmas decorations and toys to buy.
Santa came to visit which was extremely exciting for everybody.
Over the next week, there will still be some wonderful items for sale after school as well as the Book Fayre - an ideal opportunity to buy some Christmas presents.

Parent Cooking Club
We have had a great start to our Parent Cooking Club this half term. The children and their parents have had great fun making Spaghetti Bolognese and Pitta Pizzas with great results.
If you are interested in participating in Parent Cooking Club, please come and see Mrs Ward, Mrs Traer or let a member of the office team know and we will get back to you - we would love to see you there!
