The Year 5 and 6 children took part in an indoor athletics day with Sarah, the School Games Organiser for North East Hampshire. The children took part in a carousel of 6 sporting events, including:
- Stand and throw
- Indoor foam javelin
- Long jump
- Triple jump
- Target point throw
- Speed bounce
The children were put in teams, where they were in charge of measuring and recording their results. Each child had the opportunity to complete the events multiple times, in order for them to increase and beat their scores. All children completed the tasks fairly and were extremely encouraging towards their peers.
