As part of our Design and Technology unit, we designed and made cushions based on our Geography learning of European countries. We researched different European flags and chose the design we wanted on our cushion.
During the sessions, we had to take our time and be extremely patient. We used the blanket stitch, running stitch and backstitch to sew our cushions together. Once we had finished sewing the design and 3 sides of the cushion together, we turned it inside out, stuffed it and sewed the final side up.
