To celebrate the coronation of King Charles III, we held our very own Coronation Party at Tower Hill. All of the children learnt a traditional country dance which they performed beautifully on the school playground. All of the children also took part in an assembly where they learnt all about the coronation and the wonderful events that will take place on Saturday 6th May. Each of these assemblies ended with the children singing beautiful songs to celebrate our new King.
All of the children made crowns and decorated their own picnic bags and crown shaped biscuits - so many wonderful memories were made today.
The children showed the upmost respect when they shared in a moment of reflection with Miss Ovenden about how they can follow the example of our King and do their part to Make a Difference to the world that we live in, before listening to the National Anthem.
We finished out party with a playground disco and a lot of bubbles!!!!!!
