Museum of Mystery Maths
On Thursday 5th November, Petronas Class took part in a Maths workshop at school. They 'visited' the Museum of Mystery but were shocked to find that all the exhibits had been trashed. It turned out, a caveman had escaped from a painting and was causing mischief in the museum and around our school!
The children had to help to put all the exhibits back together by solving maths problems such as measuring, telling time, ordering and matching and using their number bonds.
Solving each problem gave them a clue. Once they had solved all the problems, they could use the clues to create a code that enabled them to put the caveman back into his painting where he belonged.
Petronas Class absolutely LOVED their workshop, as you can see from the photos!
