Marwell Zoo

We had an amazing school trip to Marwell Zoo on Tuesday 11th May. We travelled from school on a coach which was very exciting. When we arrived at the zoo, we were so excited... we all cheered.
During our visit, we were very lucky and we saw a large range of animals, including:
  • penguins
  • rhinos
  • giraffes
  • flamingos
  • tigers
  • red pandas
  • ostriches
  • and a snow leopard (well it's tail!)
We attended two workshops with a zoo keeper, her name was Sue. She taught us all about the different animals and we learnt that we have the same number of bones in our neck as a giraffe!
We hope you enjoy looking at some of our photos.
