On Wednesday 24th January, Year 2 went on a trip to Birdworld.
Throughout the day we visited the penguins and watched them being fed their lunch. The children were able to talk about all the amazing features the penguins have on their bodies to help them live in a cold climate.
We also enjoyed seeing the emu, flamingos and other birds. We especially loved the owls and it was great to see two snowy owls as we have been learning about these as part of our Frozen Planet topic.
We had the best time!!
