During World Book Day, we took part in several activities, linked to reading.
Every day, a bell was rung to tell us it was time to 'Drop Everything and Read (DEAR). We had to listen out for the bell, and make sure we had a book to hand.
We also took part in a character hunt. We had to search around the school grounds for 20 characters from well-known children books.
Finally, we had to learn a short poem. We chose 'My Shadow' by Robert Louis Stevenson.
