Story of the Day
As part of our History topic, Year 4 had a Romans Day. As well as learning more about the rise and fall of the Roman Empire, we also got the chance to make Roman-style mosaic artwork:
And make our own Roman bread rolls to take home:
Finally, we got to try some Roman foods! A lot of us liked the grapes and cheese, but we weren't so sure about the olives!
We had a very memorable and action-packed day and learned a lot about the Romans.
