To support our learning on the Romans, we took part in a Roman Day. During the day, we explored more about the Romans and how their empire became so large. We also explored why the Roman Empire fell, even though it was so powerful.
In the morning, we had a go at baking some bread rolls. We found this really fun and a little bit messy! We also got to create our own Roman mosaics.
In the afternoon, we had the chance to try different Roman foods, including cheddar cheese, feta cheese, olives, grapes and tomatoes.
