Investigating the Weather!

As part of our Geography topic Blackpool class have been learning all about the Weather both in the UK and in other countries.
We have also been keeping a track of the weather all week by going outside and making judgments and predictions. We even filled in our own weather diary so we can see how the weather has changed over the week. Blackpool class loved watching the weather forecast and trying to spot all the different weather symbols.
The children enjoyed making rain and wind gauges to help with their understanding. The rain gauges were made from plastic bottles and a scale. The wind gauges were made from lolly pop sticks and wool.
The children have had an exciting week exploring and investigating weather - we may even have some budding weather forecasters!!
