25.4.18 - Well the girls certainly proved that hard work pays off this evening at our Cup Quarter and Semi Finals! In our first match against St Michael's we did well to keep the play in their half for most of the game and with goals from Esme, Ellie, Keira and Channelle we stormed to a 7-0 victory and through to the semi final where we had drawn against Velmead.
The girls knew this was going to be a tough game, with their opponents reaching the finals for the last six years. However, this did not stop our girls putting in an incredibly strong performance and making the Velmead girls work very hard for their 3-0 win.
Miss Stratton, Mr Collins and Mr Kennedy, along with all the Tower Hill supporters, were bursting with pride for our girls. What a brilliant way to end the season!
26.3.18 - Our girls travelled away to take on a Velmead team in a friendly match. Tower Hill took the lead early on through Esme but were pegged back by two goals before half time. The girls responded superbly in the second half and two goals from Keira meant we won the game 3 - 2. A fantastic achievement from all 12 girls who took part, well done!
7.12.17 - In their first competitive league game, our girls acquitted themselves well against a strong Frogmore team. Despite a somewhat chastening 8-2 score line, the girls played brilliantly, scoring first in both halves. We are very proud of all of them.
9.11.17 - Miss Stratton, Mr Collins and Mr Kennedy took 13 girls from Year 3 and Year 4 to their first ever football match on Thursday 9th November, against St Nicholas' School. All the girls played brilliantly and we were very proud of them! The final result was a 2-0 victory! The girls were very excited to be the first team to represent Tower Hill in our brand new football kit!
