On Thursday 6th October 2016, Alloa Class went on a trip to the British Museum in London. It took a very long time to get there. We had a talk from one of the teachers at the museum and she told us all about the 'Journey to the Afterlife'. We learnt all about the Book of the Dead that the Egyptians used to have in their tombs to prepare them for the afterlife. Afterwards, we got the chance to look around the Egyptian galleries in the museum, we saw lots of interesting things like mummies, amulets and coffins!
